ZACH DORAN

WHAT'S UP!
I’m Zach and thanks for coming to check out my website! I come from Goldens Bridge, NY and started performing at the age of 2 when my mother, a proud dance studio owner, shoved me into my first class. Lucky for her, I've never looked back! I just graduated with my BFA in Musical Theatre from Penn State University with the Smeal College Business Certificate as well as the Schreyers Honors College designation and I could not be more excited to face the real world!
At school, I had the privilege of playing lead roles, leading ensembles and even taking a step behind the table. Some of my favorite credits include Berowne in Love’s Labours Lost, Old Man Strong/Lockstock US/Dance Captain in Urinetown, and Mingo/Bobby US/Assoc. Chor. in Crazy for You. I have also had the pleasure of working professionally at The Muny (as Finch in Newsies), Music Theatre Wichita (most notably as Race in Newsies), and Pittsburgh CLO (in the ensemble of The Music Man).
As I have grown older, I've also grown a love for teaching and choreographing! I love being able to share my love of tap dance and musical theatre with the world! When I’m not performing, you will probably see me watching a Detroit Lions, Pistons, or Tigers game on my couch with a very intense look on my face. Sometimes it’s a little scary. Next year is the year baby!
